Leah Springer, LPC
Leah has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas since 2000. She has 25 years of business leadership and ministry experience, with over 15 years of focused clinical counseling.
Leah is inspired to assist people with life challenges on many levels—personal growth, family relationships, and business ventures. In both counseling and coaching, she uses a relational leadership approach to help people secure needed change and accomplish their goals.
Leah helps people with a variety of individual issues including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, overcoming traumas, spiritual dilemmas and major life transitions. She helps couples and families in marital and relational distress. She works with premarital couples to help lay a foundation for future marital success. Some of Leah’s most passionate work is with adolescents as they make their passage from teenage years into independence and maturity. She partners with parents in making this a smoother transition for all family members, while avoiding many of the significant pitfalls that impact our youth today.
Leah holds Master of Arts in Counseling Degree from Dallas Baptist University (2000) and well as a Master’s of Business Administration from Baylor University (1989), and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University (1986). She is an ordained minister and is co-founder of LifeGate Counseling.
Patrice Sampley, LPC
Patrice has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas since 2000. She has nearly 30 years of Christian ministry experience, over 15 of which include clinical work in counseling and coaching. Patrice gives special attention to the areas of emotional health and relational concerns. She helps many people with challenges related to depression, anxiety, anger, grief, and trauma recovery. She also assists those struggling with sexual identity, pornography addiction, chronic illness, and issues with self-esteem. Patrice works with various age groups and their related issues, including teenage struggles, the dilemmas of young adulthood, single adult challenges, marital conflict, affair recovery, and life transitions. Other key areas of focus include: relational coaching; communication and conflict resolution; the pain of loss; personal development and wholeness. She works with people individually and in small group settings.
Patrice considers the whole person—the physical, the psychological and the spiritual aspects of the client’s world. She has discovered that one of the biggest hurdles many face today is the struggle of aloneness. She believes an essential key to emotional health and life purpose is relational connection—deep, meaningful connection with God, self, and others. Patrice has a passion to equip people to overcome their obstacles, connect meaningfully with God, and experience relationships that really work.
Patrice was in private practice as a licensed counselor at Rapha Christian Counseling (2001-2008) prior to opening LifeGate Solutions in 2008. She holds a Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling, is an ordained minister, and is co-founder of LifeGate Solutions. Patrice also leads small group intensives, speaks at seminars and workshops, and has served as a consultant in the development of relational resources.
Satchel Stillwell, M.A., LPC
Satchel Stillwell’s passion is helping people to overcome issues of identity, self-esteem, personality, and character defects. His therapeutic style is honest, directive, and solution focused.
Satchel has extensive experience working with teenage boys and the parents who love them. He has a keen ability to connect with and relate to teen boys that is unique among many therapists. Satchel also specializes in the treatment of alcoholism and addiction, with over 6 years of experience working in a drug and alcohol treatment center. He has significant experience working with the following disorders: anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, gender dysphoria, sex addiction, video game addiction, internet addiction, pornography addiction, bi-polar disorder, autism, borderline personality disorder, and schizoaffective disorder.
Satchel’s goal for each client is that they receive healing and begin reaching their full potential. He approaches every client as a child of God, whether they are believers or not. He stands for equality and spiritual freedom for all individuals. He build’s strong rapport with his clients to speak into their lives with both honesty and clarity.
Satchel holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Degree from Dallas Baptist University 2013 as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Edwards University 2011. He has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas since 2013. Since that time, he has worked in both private practice and also as the Clinical Director of an inpatient treatment center.
